Christmas is coming & the caterpillar’s getting fat

What are your Christmas traditions? From mini-mince pie making with your mum to teetering on a chair to pop an ancient Barbie doll on the Christmas tree, we’ve heard quite a few and across the world wide web a new tradition is emerging  . . . . Christmas Eve Boxes! They’re filled with cosy bed socks, carrots for Rudolf and a bedtime story to read before Santa arrives. Hearing the word carrot the Very Hungry Caterpillar just waggled an excited antenna. He’s counting down to Christmas too. What do you think he’ll be eating on Christmas day? One figgy pudding, two mince pies and three Brussels Sprouts of course . . .

To win the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s Christmas Eve box, which includes room stickers, a Pop-Up-Pull -Out book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s Christmas 123, and the original story, jingle your way over to @puffinbooks twitter to enter.

What Christmas traditions do you have in your house? Write them in the comments!

A big thank you and Merry Christmas to our friends at FunToSee for the Very Hungry Caterpillar room decorations and Rainbow Designs for the super soft and fury toy caterpillar.
